Telemedicine Registered Nurse | Menopause & Fertility Care
Overview:
Our client is a leading global fertility and family-building benefits platform supporting members through fertility, menopause, hormonal, and metabolic health journeys. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our part-time to full-time, fully remote telemedicine contractor network and provide evidence-based virtual care to members across all U.S. states.
Schedule: 20–40 hours/week, scheduled shifts within the Monday–Friday, 8:00a–6:00p CST coverage window
Target Start Date: September 9, 2026 (required training prior to start)
About the Role: All work in this role is performed within RN scope of practice. RNs provide triage, education, care coordination, and documentation. RNs do not diagnose, do not prescribe, and do not independently modify a treatment plan — anything requiring clinical judgment beyond RN scope is routed to a physician.
Key responsibilities include:
Member Triage & Education — Serve as the first clinical reviewer of inbound member messages, triaging for urgency and escalating to a physician when needed; deliver education on menopause staging, hormone therapy, preconception health, metabolic health, and medication administration; route non-clinical threads to the appropriate support team.
Lab Results & Care Coordination — Review and triage incoming results, escalate critical findings per protocol, retrieve outside records, coordinate specialist referrals, and manage pharmacy callbacks and prior authorizations.
Documentation & Quality — Document all clinically relevant interactions same-day, create tracked internal tasks with named owners, follow escalation pathways, and contribute to chart audits and protocol feedback.
Requirements
- Fully remote position with a HIPAA-compliant, private home workspace
- Active, unrestricted RN license with NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) multi-state privileges, in good standing
- ADN or BSN from an accredited program; BSN preferred
- Ability to commit to scheduled shifts within the Monday–Friday, 8:00a–6:00p CST coverage window and adapt to changing coverage needs
- Reliable internet connection
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of active RN clinical experience, with meaningful experience in women's health, reproductive health, OB/GYN, fertility, endocrinology, or menopause care
- Demonstrated nurse triage experience — assessing urgency, applying protocol, and escalating appropriately — including recognition of critical lab values
- Clear understanding of RN scope of practice and sound judgment about when to escalate
- Strong written communication for asynchronous messaging and strong phone presence for symptom assessment and instruction
- Proficiency with EHR and telehealth systems, secure messaging, and e-fax workflows
- Familiarity with HIPAA and applicable telemedicine privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting members on anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, is preferred but not required
