Job Description:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team.
  • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within the Surgical General department during the night shift. 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry unit, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and individualized care plans.
  • Utilize advanced telemetry technology to observe and interpret patients' heart rhythms, promptly identifying any abnormalities or changes.
  • Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and respond to emergent situations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing updates and education as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care by participating in quality assurance initiatives and compliance with established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Prior experience in Telemetry or a related field is preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. 
  • Certification in Telemetry nursing is a plus.
