Job Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team.
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within the Surgical General department during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry unit, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and individualized care plans.
- Utilize advanced telemetry technology to observe and interpret patients' heart rhythms, promptly identifying any abnormalities or changes.
- Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and respond to emergent situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing updates and education as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care by participating in quality assurance initiatives and compliance with established protocols.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Prior experience in Telemetry or a related field is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Certification in Telemetry nursing is a plus.
