Job Description:
- As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry department at our Tamarac, FL location, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within the 2 South/Tele unit.
- This position involves working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring continuous monitoring and care for patients in the telemetry unit.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure timely intervention and response to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care plans.
Requirements:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in telemetry or a related field is preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Proficient in interpreting telemetry readings and responding to cardiac emergencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of telemetry monitoring systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
