Job Description:

  • As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry department at our Tamarac, FL location, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within the 2 South/Tele unit. 
  • This position involves working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring continuous monitoring and care for patients in the telemetry unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure timely intervention and response to changes in patient conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care plans.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Previous experience in telemetry or a related field is preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
  • Proficient in interpreting telemetry readings and responding to cardiac emergencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.                                                                                  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of telemetry monitoring systems.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
