The Trauma Surgeon role will be working in the Surgery specialty, located in Osceola Regional Medical Center - SUR Kissimmee, FL.
Job Details: Trauma Program: 408-bed Joint Commission accredited facility State Verified Level II Trauma Center 12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call from home with 30 min response (rarely called in) Emergency General Surgery covered 14 days/mo by Trauma team 1630 admissions per year 24-hour APP coverage (working with surgeons) Averaging 1.5-2 trauma alerts per day Opportunity to foster an Elective General Surgery practice Residents in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and others Trauma Surgeon Criteria: Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred ATLS Required
