Travel Position | CT Technologist | Asheville, NC
Job Summary:
Join our team as a travel CT Technologist in Asheville, NC, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, demonstrate strong technical proficiency in computed tomography imaging, and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media as required, following safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification (or equivalent)
- Active state licensure (North Carolina or compact state, if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, travel assignment environment
