Travel Position | Interventional Radiologic Technologist | Asheville, NC
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech) to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including vascular and other minimally invasive procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields; ensure all equipment is ready and functioning properly.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide care before, during, and after procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- State radiologic technologist license (if required by the state).
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology required.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
