Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Travel MRI Technologist in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. This is a travel position offering the opportunity to work in dynamic healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and positioning during imaging procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment efficiently and accurately to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures appropriately.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment and escalate as necessary.
  • Educate patients on MRI procedures and answer questions about the imaging process.

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Valid State MRI Technologist License or Registration as required.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols, anatomy, and imaging procedures.
  • Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical settings.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare facilities.
