Travel Position | Occupational Therapist | Dallas, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Dallas, TX with at least 1 year of experience to provide individualized care and support to patients across various settings. The ideal candidate will help patients regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance overall quality of life. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact on each patient’s recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ functional independence.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including adaptive techniques, exercises, and assistive devices.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to support recovery and enhance daily living activities.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Texas or eligible for licensure.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
