Travel Position | Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab | Houston, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab to join a dynamic healthcare team in Houston, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated nurses looking to expand their clinical expertise while working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
As a Travel RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support advanced cardiac treatments, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout every stage of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as required
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and records
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, hemodynamics, and patient monitoring
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to travel assignments
