Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehabilitation to join a leading healthcare team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to broaden their clinical experience while providing care in a supportive, fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

As a Travel RN in Inpatient Rehabilitation, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, playing a vital role in helping patients regain independence and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from strokes, orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and other rehabilitation needs.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs.
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to each patient’s recovery goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
  • Assist patients with mobility, daily activities, and achieving rehabilitation objectives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
  • Educate patients and families about recovery and rehabilitation processes.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established care protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
  • Active RN license (Texas or compact state).
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (rehabilitation experience preferred).
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Strong clinical and patient assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability for travel assignments.
