Travel Position | Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation | Corpus Christi, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehabilitation to join a leading healthcare team in Corpus Christi, Texas. As a Travel RN in Inpatient Rehabilitation, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, playing a vital role in helping patients regain independence and enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from strokes, orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and other rehabilitation needs.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to each patient’s recovery goals.
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
- Assist patients with mobility, daily activities, and achieving rehabilitation objectives.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Educate patients and families about recovery and rehabilitation processes.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established care protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (rehabilitation experience preferred).
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong clinical and patient assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability for travel assignments.
