Job Summary:

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Asheville, North Carolina. In this role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced clinical environment while supporting diverse patient populations across multiple care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across a variety of settings, including emergency and critical care units.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and advanced airway management.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment with precision and care.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Valid state licensure in North Carolina (or compact/eligibility).
  • Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively as part of a team.
