Travel Position | Travel Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) | Asheville, NC
Job Summary:
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Asheville, North Carolina. In this role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced clinical environment while supporting diverse patient populations across multiple care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across a variety of settings, including emergency and critical care units.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and advanced airway management.
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment with precision and care.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function assessments.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Valid state licensure in North Carolina (or compact/eligibility).
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively as part of a team.
