Travel Position | Ultrasound Technologist | Manchester, NH
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience performing diagnostic ultrasound exams in a clinical setting. This role involves traveling to various healthcare facilities to provide high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with imaging protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and other relevant exams.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly and compassionately.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of findings and maintain patient records.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Adapt quickly to different clinical environments and workflow processes during travel assignments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a diagnostic ultrasound technologist.
- Current ARDMS or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in diverse clinical settings.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different work environments.
