Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays, readings, and results.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment plans.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Active state license required/registration where applicable.
  • Previous experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
