Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN)
Shifts : EVENING 1P - 1130P MON/WED/FRI
DAYS 1015A-830P TUES/THU/SAT 3 DAYS PER WEEK - May be required to work weekends and holidays
Summary:
Provide direct nursing care to ESRD patients receiving hemodialysis, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Key Duties:
Assess, monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after dialysis
Initiate and terminate hemodialysis using AV fistulas, grafts, and catheters
Operate and monitor dialysis equipment and patient vital signs
Identify and respond to complications and emergencies
Administer medications and educate patients on treatment and self-care
Collaborate with physicians and the care team
Required Experience & Skills:
1+ year in Med-Surg, ER, or Critical Care
1+ year as a Hemodialysis Nurse
Strong clinical, communication, and computer (EMR, Word, Excel) skills
Ability to work flexible schedules
Education & Licensure:
Required: BSN, NY State RN License, BLS, ACLS
Preferred: MSN, Arrhythmia Certification, Nephrology Certification
