Minimal Training and Experience:
- Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years of hospital experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, to sit for extended periods, to visually interpret telephone and computer terminals, to move between work areas; to handle stress of high telephone call volume and computer data entry, to work independently and alone. Must have initiative, good judgment, resilience, patience, discretion, perseverance and enthusiasm.
Licenses/Certification:
- Current South Carolina Nursing license or Compact State from the State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
- Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred but not required
- Current NIHSS stroke scale with American Heart Association (AHA), preferred but not required
