This facility is a busy Orthopedic practice dedicated to individualized treatment for relief of pain associated with auto accidents, slip and falls, work injuries, sport injuries and other orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including DOT exams, Pre-Op, EKG, and venipuncture
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Perform intermuscular Injections
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Administer IV infusions and perform other advanced medical procedures as necessary

Requirements:

  • Licensed to actively practice in the state of Florida as a Physician Assistant
  • Active DEA
  • Proficient in pain management techniques and able to provide appropriate interventions for pain relief
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
  • Willing to get certified for DOT and other Occupational Health
  • Skilled in aseptic technique to ensure infection control during medical procedures
  • Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs for diagnostic purposes
  • Excellent patient assessment skills to identify health concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Competent in providing services across a wide range of medical conditions and age groups
  • Willing to learn Intra-articular Injections
  • Proficient in administering IV infusions safely and accurately
  • Knowledge of public health principles and ability to promote health education and disease prevention initiatives
