MercyOne is needing Locums Vascular Surgeon to for Call Coverage in July and September Vascular Medicine provides comprehensive care of Arterial and Venous disorders as well as treatment for lymphodema and lipodema. MercyOne is needing a Vascular Surgeon from July 16-28 & Sept. 19-22 to provide 24 hour call coverage. Details:  BC MD/DO – Vascular Surgery  Must be currently IA licensed  Start: 24 Call coverage -July 16th- July 28th & Sept 19th–22nd  EMR: Cerner (dictation)  7 -10 scheduled surgeries per month. Call normally sees 1-2 per week.  Provider has option to work clinic for post surgical follow up and routine appointments.  Full support staff, including two Surgical Techs Typical cases include: Potential surgeries: carotid/femoral endarterectomy, fistula AV graft, repair AAA, abdominal aortic aneurysm, bypass carotid subclavian, bypass femoral popliteal, ect.  Carotid Stenosis & Stroke  Aortic Dissection / Thoracic Aortic Dissection / Thoracic Aortic aneurysm Potential call volume: possible 1-2 per week Possible Clinic Coverage Travel & Lodging reimbursed About: MercyOne is the largest health care system in Iowa.
